Review: Reigning Queen of Burlesque competition
Summer 2016
“Di Lovely burst on to the stage in an explosion of shimmering silver fringe. Spinning and shimmying around the stage, Di Lovely’s act was a high energy burlesque dance number that was truly awe-inspiring in its precise and athletic choreography. She made excellent use of levels, with a large amount of impressive floorwork, replete with backbends and an incredible drop split early on. Also, her music transition was fantastic and served to amp up the already energetic quality of the performance. It cannot be denied that her shaking and quaking was a definite pleasure to watch.”

Review: Reigning Queen of Burlesque competition
Summer 2016
“Stunning Di’ Lovely burst onto the stage in a burst of energy, shimmering across like a glittery disco ball in her silver glam fringed dress. So much sparkly! This gal was intense — spinning, shimmying, doing drop splits and back bends like they were going out of style. I’ve seen very few performers keep up that kind of energy for that long and look like they could go on all night. It was intoxicating — and so much glittery silver, from dress to bra right down to pasties.”

QOH – “Which famous burlesque dancer dead or alive influences you the most?”
EMG – “[I can’t pick just one. Patti Waggin, Shannon Doah, Perle Noire] ….. Lastly, someone close to home depending on her travel schedule is Di’ Lovely. Di and I knew each other in passing for two years, but we really didn’t get to know each other until this last year when we realized that we were going to all the same festivals together. She is such a talented dancer and a hard worker. In an industry where you have to be your own marketing firm, booking agent, and every other role necessary for performing, it’s wonderful to see someone who is driven as yourself that you can bounce ideas off of. She is someone that you should be watching.”

” The first competitor in hopes of taking the title was Di’ Lovely from San Diego, CA. She sashayed across the stage as she performed to ‘I Got You Under My Skin’. She looked beautiful in her gold satin dress as she slipped off her stockings, added some splits, and teased and appeased the audience. “

Who’s Who in San Diego Burlesque – blurb
May 2013
” Di’ Lovely got her start with the Caburlesque Kittens and has become their Weapon of Mass Seduction. Di’ Lovely has often been referred to as “Agent 00Sexy,” she is known to kill the dance floor with her mad, sophisticated sex appeal. Do not be deceived by her petite stature & those sweet almond eyes. She wears her heart on her sleeve, with a few tricks under there too. Di’ Lovely has been taking the burlesque industry by storm by being accepted into many burlesque festivals all around the country and was recently accepted into our burlesque industry’s top competition, the Burlesque Hall of Fame and will be competing in the “Best Debut” category. “
